Abstract Expressionist 'Skull'

This was my sketchbook version of one of the squares in a school project. I was suppossed to make 9 4x4 squares, make a design, copy it into every square, and manipulate each one with different mediums to imitate different art styles. Incredibly fun project.
This is another favourite square.
For this one, i used oil pastels to try to achieve an expressionistic skull. I'd classify it as abstract expressionism or fauvism. Same deal to me.
My only regret is that this was the original, and the original is always the best. The one i used in my actual project, just didn't have the same flair i fell in love with in this one.
